Grand River Hospital and St. Mary’s General Hospital are currently recruiting for a Locum Infectious Diseases Physician in Kitchener, ON between March 2020 to December 2020 (or a portion of this time period).

The hospitals are seeking an infectious diseases locum physician who will work with two other consultants to provide inpatient consults for patients at both hospitals, with a wide range of medical and surgical infectious diseases issues. ID call coverage is provided from Mondays-Fridays, and the successful candidate would usually be on call for one week at a time (1 week on, 2 weeks off), unless otherwise arranged. No weekend call coverage or outpatient clinic duties are required, and there are no internal medicine call responsibilities. If interested in outpatient clinic opportunities that can be arranged. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ontario with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and must hold certification in Infectious Diseases by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
