Join this engaging session targeted to infectious disease specialists and HIV primary care physicians. With the quickly emerging medications in the Canadian HIV landscape, it is imperative for specialists and primary care physicians to continuously evaluate safety of therapies and HIV regimens, depending on each patient’s history and circumstances. This program will walk you through case studies and will engage participants via voting in a modified script concordance format.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Understand the safety profile of selected NRTI (TAF, TDF, ABC) and the impact of boosted vs. unboosted regimens on this profile.
• Critically evaluate the optimal NRTI regimens for specific patients and clinical contexts.
• Address the impact of genetic mutations and comorbidities on treatment decisions.
