CACMID Education Grants – 2024 Conference

For Technical Staff, Clinical Research Scientists and Clinical Microbiology Fellows attending the AMMI-CACMID Annual Conference.

Eligibility

Applicants must be microbiology laboratory technologists or technicians, clinical research scientists (without faculty appointments) or clinical microbiology fellows registered in a Canadian training program. All must be active members of CACMID. Applicant must pay the full conference registration fee (student or full, as applicable) and shared registrations are not eligible. Each applicant is eligible for only one grant per annual conference.

Application

An education grant application form will be made available prior to the start of the conference. Itemized receipts must be submitted.

Grants available are as follows:

• Up to $350 for Technical Staff and Clinical Research Scientists attending from Vancouver, Greater Vancouver Area and International
• Up to $600 for Technical Staff and Clinical Research Scientists attending from BC (not Vancouver or GVA)
• Up to $850 for Technical Staff and Clinical Research Scientists attending from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Québec
• Up to $1,200 for Technical Staff and Clinical Research Scientists attending from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, PEI, NWT, Yukon and Nunavut
• Up to $1,200 for Clinical Microbiology Fellows enrolled in a Canadian training program
