2023 CACMID Award for Leadership in Syndromic Infectious Disease Testing

The CACMID Award for Leadership in Syndromic Infectious Disease Testing (sponsored by bioMérieux Canada Inc.) recognizes and encourages scientific contributions to the study and advancement of syndromic testing of infectious diseases in Canada. The recipient of this award will receive a $5,000 prize and will be invited to give an oral presentation of their work at the annual CACMID meeting. Nominees must be current CACMID members and have published at least one paper or poster with a focus on Syndromic Infectious Disease Testing published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal or presented at a respected scientific meeting within the last 2 years.

Nomination Requirements: 1) A letter of support describing the noteworthy contribution of the article/poster and the nominee’s role in the article (up to one page) and 2) a PDF of the recently published article/poster. NOTE: self-nominations accepted.
